My services include the following:
1. Editing and Freelance work:
I work with small and medium-sized businesses in the following areas:
- Brochures and leaflets
- Newspaper advertisements
- Press/news releases
- Sales letters
- Website content
I also edit articles, manuscripts, and essays.
2. Nutrition Communication and Education:
My main goal as a Muslim nutrition educator, is to educate Muslims in reviving the Sunnah of eating and drinking. The Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad, salla llaahu alayhe was salaam (peace be upon him) teaches us the proper Islamic manners of knowing what we feed ourselves and families with, and also how we consume.
These days, we focus so much attention on what is halal, haram, and zabiha. However, we forget the proper etiquettes of eating and drinking even if we are eating and drinking what is halal. Nowadays, we stand while eating, eat with our left hands, waste food without feeling troubled about it, and eat too much, completely forgetting those who are starving in silence. We forget to invoke the name of Allaah before and after eating, especially in social gatherings.
More so, our younger generations are subconsciously taught to consume food amass, thus developing food-related health problems at an early age. For us to earn the full rewards as Muslims, we must eat what is wholesome and pure, in accordance to the Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad, salla llaahu alayhe was salam.
Events, news release, and any article related to food and nutrition, will occasionally be posted on my blog in sha Allaah.
